These classes include learning positive reinforcement and balanced training:
Socialization is so important. The puppies that don’t have all of their shots should absolutely be receiving training. She will come to your home, putting shoe covers on as well as washing hands to ensure no possibility of your dog getting sick through contact. You will learn how to acclimate your dog to the sights, sounds and smells of the world safely as well as the simple training basics that you can be working on until you join the classes or private dog training lessons.
The group obedience classes include finding out what motivates your dog and how to engage with them to make training more effective, how to better manage and communicate with your dog, learning body language, curbing barking, jumping, learning Sit, Come, Down, Stay, Leave it, Drop it commands, walking on a leash, proper meet and greet, minor agility course to build confidence in both dog and owner and even more on-leash socialization before and after the training classes.
Make new, life-long friends and become eligible to attend the Intermediate classes.
*Aggression and dogs with extreme, behavioral issues may not attend and should be approached using private lessons.
